Grand Casino French Bakery in Culver City

I have reviewed before but man the more food I try the more I love this place... And like I've said I've been coming there since I was a kid. Amazing food you can NOT go wrong.. and happy hour is currently 3-6

I like their spinach empanadas! However, If you are planning to go there it would be best to take Venice Blvd find parking and walk to Grand Casino. Also you could park in the public parking lot across the movie theater on Culver Blvd and walk because Main Street is totally blocked for now and part of Culver Blvd as well.

Stop here for coffee and sweets and what a place, it may not have the decor of a fancy coffee shop, but pastry are good, also the savoury empanadas, and the fo have a restaurant next door.

One of my top spots for quality Argentinian food. I was so full. Definitely worth a return visit. The prices are fair for the quality of food.

Great find. Brunch of Huevos Rancheros and Empanadas was fabulous, great prices, and service was superb. Will be back.

Great Argentinian bakery and food

Today I Tried some Argentinian Empanadas, I tried one Ham & Cheese and two with meat.It was decent, they were not the best I've tried. There wasn't enough cheese in the Ham & cheese and there wasn't enough meat.But I will like to try something else on their menu next time.

Baked goods were delicious (cookie, donuts, eclair). Gets busy pretty quickly so you will have to wait a couple of minutes before ordering. Espresso was perfect. I've heard breakfast here is delicious-- have yet to experience it myself, but I plan on returning soon to try it.

The Argentinian pastries are delicious and authentic. Great spot and a long time favorite with the locals. This bakery cafe has tons of options as well other Argentine staples on menu.

My preferred spot for tasty argentinian food. I love this place, excellent food & service. The bill won't shock you.

I know this place is already famous, but my oh my, their egg tart is a bomb!!! Seriously, the best egg tart I ever had! I went there on a holiday so the line up was OK. I think I waited about 20min or so around 6pm. Every layer of pastry crust is crispy and their filling is just about right sweetness with egg flavor. I don't know why I only got 4....I'm definitely getting one box of dozen when i go back.

Great empanadas!!!! . The staff are very friendly specially Julia. She takes care of customer with a smile. I will definitely recommend the Grand Casino in Culver City.

Super bakery, love this place.. especially the pastries, low key gem of a spot.

Excellent place for delicious Argentinian food. Everyone at our table was glad to be there. Prices were average for the menu.

Argentinian food and service here is excellent. Honestly my favorite evening place. The service was very kind and attentive. Prices were reasonable.

The restaurant is excellent and the attention that Miss Julia gave us was an excellent person with a great sense of customer service, very helpful and with a lot of common sense who attended us and did not serve us in a special way Thank you very much, by restoring great casino and young Julia.

Regularly partake in breakfast and have sampled numerous menu and bakery options. This Argentinian resturant serves great coffee, empanadas, sandwiches and other traditional dishes. The service is also excellent. The bakery will also do special orders.

The food is always fresh and flavorful, employees hands out good service. I liked the cleanliness and atmosphere. Will come visit again.

Grand Casino is brilliant: great coffee, great empanadas, and best of all great service. The folks who working mornings, when I most often go in, are incredibly friendly and efficient, and a big part of what makes this a lovely local spot. Been coming here for years, and will continue to do so as long as it keeps this kind of charm.

So happy this place opened up right next door!! Great food, coffee, ice cream, juices. Awesome breakfast spot. It's expensive and super hipster-y, but I'll take it as it's the only place in this area to get breakfast and coffee. The olive oil eggs are my favorite!! Sooo good.

Cake great taste! Staff are very helpful and responsive to any questions. Everyone is friendly and kind. Delivered to the party on time. We will definitely order again for next birthday.

I had the cheese and spinach empanadas here, not the greatest empanadas, I would say Okayish!! They were a little harder from outside and very greasy even though baked. Service is really good, also we had the bottomless mimosas, cant really go wrong with the mimosas though.

Was visiting for a seminar and they were great! I was able to get a latte real fast and some excellent cookies!

Love this place! Breakfast on the patio is lovely. And their bakery has great pastries and their empanadas are delicious.

Great service. Loved the food and prices.

If I had more money, I'd be awash in coconut cream pies, lemon cream tarts, and morning buns (with a hint of orange). A worthwhile treat, and easy to get if you show up a few minutes before it opens at 8 am.
